		<description>Hey, thanks much.  I'll check that out if Ubuntu doesn't work out.  I'm pretty certain the problem lies in the fact that apt-get'ing a kernel gets me an initrd kernel and with no boot loader, I don't know how to tell the ROM kernel to use the initial ram disk image.  Anyway, I may end up using the CentOS install.  I'm sure Red Hat has come a long way since version 9, which is the last one I have experience with.
