I listen to books on CD to keep me occupied on the 1.5 hour drive from home to Champaign each week. This week I listened to “If You’re Riding Alone, You’re Riding with Bin Laden” by Bill Mahr. Very, very funny. He makes some important criticisms of American culture that should be required reading. I was mildly concerned when I saw that two of the blurbs on the back were from Fox News nitwits (Ann Coulter and Bill O’Reilly). Mahr has a very interesting mix of political perspectives that keeps the book interesting.
